Popular hip-hop samurai anime Samurai Champloo first had its four OSTs Departure, Masta, Impression, and Playlist pressed to vinyl last year and stock sold out before many fans could secure a copy. Featuring works by producers Nujabes, fat jon, Force of Nature, and Tsuchie, the Samurai Champloo soundtrack has become one of the most influential scores in anime history.
Good news is that Victor Entertainment is doing a repress of all four vinyl albums that is expected to ship later this year in December. Light in the Attic is taking pre-orders for these highly sought after records although there is still a significant premium for importing. Nonetheless, fans who missed the first pressing will want to make sure to secure a copy if they can. We will update with news of other retailers or importers that are taking orders for these records.
