Renowned anime director Makoto Shinkai (Your Name, Weathering with You) and popular J-Rock band RADWIMPS are teaming up once again to release the Suzume no Tojimari Soundtrack to vinyl. Suzume no Tojimari is the latest Shinkai film, and like his previous works it is being met with rave reviews and stellar box office numbers.
The Suzume no Tojimari vinyl release will come in 2LP and is expected to release March 8, 2023. Pre-orders are already up and quickly selling out. If the popularity of previous Shinkai x RADWIMPS records are anything to go by, these will not last long and are likely to command quite a premium on the second hand market if you are unable to secure a copy. Update: All the Anime has announced an International Edition of the Suzume soundtrack that will be available in August. Pre-orders will open April 11, 2023.
