Mondo has announced the release of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Snake’s Revenge soundtracks on vinyl. Both will be up on Mondo’s online shop Wednesday, June 23rd at noon CST. The Metal Gear 2 soundtrack composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito and Yuji Takenouchi will be pressed on 2LP 180g red and white vinyl with black splatter. The gatefold packaging features artwork by Oliver Barrett.
The Snake’s Revenge soundtrack LP is limited to 1,000 copies pressed on tri-color vinyl. The classic game is considered the unofficial sequel to Metal Gear and has somewhat of a cult following amongst Metal Gear aficionados. Fans of the series may want to set their alarms to make sure you are able to snag one of these limited edition copies before they sell out.
