Since its release in 2009 League of Legends has grown into the worlds largest eSport with its championship series, League of Legends Worlds, garnering some of the highest viewership of any global sporting event. Every year Riot Games collaborates with talented musicians to create a new Worlds Anthem performed live at the event.
Video game label iam8bit is collaborating with League of Legends developer Riot Games to release a collection of the Worlds Anthems on vinyl for the very first time. This compilation features hit songs from the likes of Zedd, Lil Nas X, Imagine Dragons and NewJeans. The League of Legends Worlds Anthems Vol. 1 LP will be pressed on blue vinyl and is expected to release February 2024.
