Evangelion 3.0+1.0 “One Last Kiss” Vinyl LP Finally Gets International Release

“One Last Kiss,” the theme song to the long-awaited Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is finally slated for an international vinyl release thanks to Milan Records. While the Japan releases featured Rei and Shinji on the vinyl and CD releases respectively, the international vinyl release will feature Asuka Langley on its cover. The LP also contains remastered versions of “Beautiful World,” “Sakura Nagashi,” and “Fly Me to the Moon,” which featured on the earlier Evangelion films. Pre-Orders will open on April 29th, 8pm PST / 11pm EST at a number of online retailers.

The “One Last Kiss” LP will be available in four different variants:

  • USA Wide Release: Crystal Clear Vinyl
  • EU Wide Release: Teal Clear Vinyl
  • Newbury Comics Variant: White Vinyl
  • Light in the Attic Variant: Smoke Clear Vinyl

The last film of the Rebuild of Evangelion series has been marked by multiple delays but was finally released in Japanese theaters on March 8, 2021 with mostly positive response. The film has become the highest-grossing film in the franchise to date, but we are still awaiting news regarding international screenings. In the meantime, the release of this LP from Milan Records will have to tide fans over until the movie gets a theatrical release or becomes available on Blu-Ray or online streaming services.
