Popular American football anime Eyeshield 21 is getting a vinyl soundtrack release thanks to French label Microids Records. The 2005 anime follows protagonist Sena Kobayakawa who joins his school’s American football club and suddenly finds himself thrust into the role of the team’s running back. The title Eyeshield 21 refers to the number that Kobayakawa wears on the field and the eyeshield he wears to hide his identity.
The Eyeshield 21 vinyl will be pressed on two red vinyl discs and is currently scheduled to ship October 2024. You can pre-order your copy at the following retailers:
