iam8bit has just announced orders for the vinyl soundtrack to the award-winning game The Stanley Parable. The first-persona exploration game from Galactic Cafe was released in 2013, and have become a cult classic. Throughout the game the player makes impactful choices that explore the relationship between the player and the developer, bringing about some witty dialogue and a satirical take on traditional game design.
The Stanley Parable vinyl soundtrack will be pressed on 2LP black vinyl and include music by The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra, Yiannis Ioannides, Christiaan Bakker, and Tom Schley. The package will also include three 18″x24″ motivational posters. 20% of the proceeds from this album will be donated to 350.org to fight climate change.
Pre-orders are now open at the iam8bit store and are expected to ship Q3 2024.
