The vinyl soundtrack for 2018 anime Bloom Into You has just been announced. Bloom Into You is a popular anime series based on the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Nio Nakatani. The anime adaptation was produced by studio Troyca and aired from October 5 to December 28, 2018 with music composed by Michiru Oshima.
The story revolves around two high school girls, Yuu Koito and Touko Nanami. Yuu, the main protagonist, is a seemingly normal and unremarkable girl who has never experienced romantic feelings for anyone. On the other hand, Touko is the student council president who appears confident and composed but hides her own insecurities.
Yuu is approached by Touko, who confesses her love for her. Despite not being able to reciprocate the feelings, Yuu agrees to help Touko with her love life, as she has a particular interest in understanding what it means to be in love. As they spend more time together, Yuu finds herself drawn to Touko’s strong and determined personality, which challenges her own understanding of romance and her own emotions.
The Bloom Into You LP will be pressed on green vinyl and is scheduled to be released in October 2023 and can be pre-ordered today.
