The soundtrack for the hit HBO television series The Last of Us has just been released by Milan Records. With the finale bringing in over 8 million viewers, The Last of Us live-action adaptation has undoubtedly been a success for HBO, and there is already news of a second season in the works.
The series takes place twenty years after human civilization has been decimated by a viral outbreak. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to escort Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of the quarantine zone and help explore a possibility that Ellie holds the key to humanity’s survival. The Last of Us Soundtrack composed by Gustavo Santaolalla and David Fleming perfectly accompany the adventures of Ellie and Joel as they travel across a post-apocalyptic America filled with the infected and plenty of other hazards.
The Last of Us vinyl soundtrack has been announced in two variants: Mondo’s grey swirl variant and a green & clear vinyl variant, both pressed on 140g vinyl. The grey swirl variant is already up for pre-order over at the Mondo Record Shop.
