Milan Records’ Twitter has teased the upcoming Demon’s Souls 2LP OST vinyl release. They say they will begin taking pre-orders next week April 1 at 8pm PST, but the pre-order link suspiciously returns a 404 error. Is this announcement for real or in the spirit of the usual tomfoolery that occurs on that date? Hopefully this announcement is legit because that gatefold and liner artwork looks amazing in combination with the golden vinyl.
There is no official tracklist as of yet, so we’ll have to see which of Shunsuke Kida’s works made the cut for this much anticipated release.
Update: Channel 3 Records has just announced that they will be receiving a “Firestorm & Plague” variant of Milan’s Demon’s Souls LP release with opaque orange marble and dark indigo vinyl. They will also open their pre-orders on April 1st so it seems this announcement is legit in case there are actually any skeptics remaining.
